There you won’t find a single car as cars were outlawed a few decades ago. The island is small enough that you can see everything by foot. The secluded nature of Mackinac Island will make you feel like you’ve entered a different world. You can take horse-drawn tours of the island or simply soak up the sun down near the beach. There are a lot of touristy places within the small town of Mackinac Island that are worth a visit.
