SANFORD, N.C. — Lee County Economic Development Corp. is moving its offices today from downtown Sanford to a new location in the Lee County Industrial Park.

The yet-to-be-named building, which also is being developed as an innovation center to launch new businesses and provide cutting-edge industrial training, was formerly occupied by the Trans-Matic Manufacturing Co.

With the move, the economic development office's physical address becomes 5825 Clyde Rhyne Drive, Sanford, NC, 27330.

The mailing address — P.O. Box 1968, Sanford, NC, 27331-1968 — remains the same.

The Lee County Economic Development Corp. is a nonprofit organization established to attract industry, enhance job opportunities and promote sound planning across Lee County. Funding is provided by the county, as well as the City of Sanford and Town of Broadway, the county's two municipalities.
